Car Insurance...

I'm very new to these forums so I thought I'd ask some pros about this.

A little background... I'm in the process of trying to get my scores up to start applying for a mortgage. I'm looking into shopping around for car insurance to get a cheaper payment than I'm paying now. How will this affect my score?

Car insurance is usually not a hard pull. so should not impact your scores at all.

Personally I would just wait until you purchase home as in you get discounts for having home and auto insurance on same policy as an example.

Great idea! Thank you. I was just hoping to get lower payments to be able to put that money towards other things.
