Chase Statements from Closed Accounts

Hello Fico fam, please forgive me if I do this wrong - it's my first post! I did search the forums for this topic before posting but have not seen anything that relates.

I have two Chase accounts, both are closed but still hold balances.  They were involved in a DMP that is no longer active but I still make payments.  However, since the accounts are closed, I no longer have access to the online portals. I get an email that says my statement is ready, but am unable to view it or access it.  This is the first month since the DMP closed, so I'm assuming they'll send me a paper copy. Has anyone gone through this before? Is there a way to get the statement quicker? I hate waiting for snail mail if I don't have to.

Kind of a first world problem I guess but any insight is appreciated!

Thank you!

Thank you @M_Smart007 ! I have done that for now, I was just hoping there was a way to get access to statements in pdf, either online or if they email to you.  I suppose I'm looking for success stories of such? haha Oh well, I will keep an eye out for paper statements from here on.

I was working down at least one Chase card that was closed, paying the balance off, and I could swear I had on-line access to the account, PDF, payments, autopay, everything.

I would call Chase again to verify whether they sent you the log in information, or can re-set that up for you. I don't know the acronym DMP but I would think you still should have access to the account.

@NRB525 I believe DMP = debt management program

@Anonymous I also agree with contacting chase to set up online access, I can't think of a reason why it would be a risk to them

Thank you @dragontears & @NRB525, I've called now and emailed/chat but they have all said that because the account is closed they cannot enable the online account.  It seems so counterproductive but... another roadblock I'll traverse I suppose

UPDATE: after having zero success with e-mail/secure messaging and phone calls, I used twitter to contact customer support.  They turned it on in seconds! It was a great experience and I'm glad I kept trying.
