I'm now having a chase checking account and I'm considering to open one more.
I'd like to have one with accessible atms or free atm withdraw from other bank's atms. Also it would be better to provide low wire trasnfer fee (iideally free incoming trasnfer and low outgoing wire trasnfer fee).
Of course it would be even better that this checking account might work well with its credit card (e.g. chase checking account provides 10% more cashback with freedom).
Any adivce?
Free use of other bank ATMs is possible, but you need to search it out.
Some of the accounts that offer this are the free Fidelity and Schwab cash management accounts, and also USAA. These types of accounts will rebate ATM surcharges that you incur.
Some reward checking accounts also do this, for example the LMCU one, assuming you meet the monthly terms (typically 10-15 debit card purchase transactions in a month).
There are also prepaid cards that offer national ATM networks.
It may also be possible to get money off a debit card via extra cash in a supermarket, or by means of a transaction at a teller window.
Capital One has an online bank account, credit cards, sharebuilder, checks, no overdrafts, high savings account yield, easy money management between accounts. The only downfall is that there are not many physical branches.
