ChexSystems and Security Freezes

Hey folks, wondering if anyone has any insight on this. I'm at my wits end and I'm about to tear my hair out I swear.

Three different and distinct financial institutions in the past month or so have declined my applications for checking or savings accounts, and they each indicated that my ChexSystems report was used to evaluate my application. But here's the issue with that- I have a recent copy of my ChexSystems report, and there's nothing on it. I don't have any charged off accounts, etc etc. that section is blank.

From one of the financial institutions, they told me it was because I had a security freeze on my file and until that was lifted, I wouldn't be able to make an application.

and here's the second issue- I don't have (and ChexSystems has confirmed) a security freeze on my file.

I've tried to explain this several times over the phone but I have found no success. Has anyone had something similar happen?

they could just be denials for chex inquiries, just like inquires on your credit report, some places will deny your applications for so many chex inquires in a certain time frame despite having no baddies
