Guys, my support obligation for the State of NJ ENDED in August of this year (2007). And it still shows up as Derogatory (missed a few payments in 1998) on my Exp. report. If I dispute these will they REMOVE them??
Opps, actually it's listed TWICE, once as Paid Account Zero Balance (Not Derogatory)updated in August of this year, so I guess that ones OK, but the other is shown as a Der. as Late 120 days past due(with NO date)....I Disputed Both however...
If it's just late payments, they can report for up to 7 years. No late payment from 1998 should should be on any of your reports. If a judgment was filed against you, then up to 7 years from the filing date.
