I currently have a Citi card with payments managed through a DMP. Somehow, the card showed as two TL on my EX report for about the last year. One entry was accurate and was updated monthly. The other entry was last updated when I disputed through EX about 6 months ago, when it was showing info from when it mysteriously split itself into two entries 6 months before that.
Long story short, I wrote a letter to Citi requesting them to remove only the duplicate line. A few days ago the duplicate disappeared from my EX report and the up-to-date entry has disappeared from all 3 reports!!! Today I received a letter from someone whose title is simply "Manager" stating they have deleted the account from my reports!!! GRRRRR!!!!
Has anyone else had experience with this? Do you think the account will reappear when the statement drops and the account used to report to the CRA? I was hoping to reopen the account once I'm done with the DMP (which Citi CS says is possible) and I really need the history as its my oldest card!

I had a Citibank account in DMP which was closed. Its been about a year since I finished DMP and I have not heard a peep from them. I didnt think they could open a closed account and IMHO I would think they would create a new account. I have had pre-approval offers from AE (another DMP member) which I wouldnt have taken. No menton from them on re-opening any of the AE accounts.
I understand that you want the history but for me I would never go back to anyone that I was in DMP with. I would make a good target for UD or some other AA.

About 2 weeks passed from the time I sent my letter to the date I received the letter from Citi. I noticed the change on my reports about 2 days before I got the letter on TC.
Edited because I cannot spell--even with spell checker.
