Collection Calls

I received a call from a collection agency today and they left a message with a number. I am pretty sure that I have written to all the CAs that I have accounts with but I am afraid that this may be something I overlooked. I am afraid it might be something that is not on my CRA reports (it would have to be) and if I don't return the call they may report it. If I am never supposed to call a CA, how am I supposed to figure out what this call was about?

if it is something new, the MUST notify you in writing at least once. they cannot deliver the proper discolsures to you over the phone. once they send a letter, you can then DV within 30 days and see what exactly this is all about. don't do anything over the phone.
