Collection accounts Remomved from credit report

I tried to contact the collection agency in regards to my account and stated that "they get paid to keep reporting the account".  So I sent a letter of Goodwill to the originator and they spoke to the collection agency and responded via email stating that they are "submiting for the trade line be removed completely from your credit report" to the collection agency.

Does having collection accounts removed from credit report increase your FICO score?

Absolutely! Increase based on how many CAs you have currently and how old the CA is when removed. Some have reported increases from 20 up to 80 or more points per removal.
