Collection agencies not reporting to CB

I purchased a car several years ago that was repossessed. I now owe a dificient balance which I've been paying for, for several years (on time). Is there any way to get the collection agency that I'm paying on behalf of the lender to report my on time payments.  This is really hurting my CS.

You want to sit tight on this one.  You do not want a collection agency to report anything the the credit agencies.  Find other ways to rebuild your credit.  Apply for a secured card if your credit isn't great.

Debt collectors dont report the timeliness of payments.  Only OCs do that.

Your agreement with the debt collector is not a creditor account.  They dont report timely or late payments under the terms of your private agreement.

What they should be doing is, as you pay, updating the remaining balance of debt owed under their collection account.
