Consolidating Question

I can't seem to find the question I posted yesterday on consolidating my credit card balances to two cards.  I do remember receiving your reply though Tuscani.  Thank you!

Question: How high of a utilization should I go  on both cards to be able to bounce back (with my credit scores) in  a reasonable amount of time?  I could pay off everything with an 80% usage of  both cards.  10K just approved by Amex Clear and I have 15K on my HSBC card. 

Home or car is not in my picture for years to come!

So you have $25k of avail credit between two cards right? Any balances on the HSBC card? Any balances on other cards?

Tuscani,

I don't have any balances at all on the Amex Clear (10K) and the HSBC card (15K).   $25K available.   My overall debt including my mortgage is $47K.   $25K would take care of about 95% of the cc obligations!
