Can I get a free copy of recent credit report pull from Experian online or is it via regular mail only?

You can get all three credit reports online once every 12 months from annualcreditreport.com

Re: Copy of credit report pull from Experian

Thanks. I know that and I have them.

What I do want is to get the same report as one of my CC received. There is some info that I'm parety sure they are lying about and I want to have evidence. If necessary I will ask for that report by mail, otherwise online would be better.

That I am not sure about. It is my understanding that lenders have access to a more complete credit report than we get (at least I think I remember hearing that on here somewhere). I have no idea how/if we have any access to that report.

The reports don't get any more complete than what you get at annualcreditreport.com. They are considered "full reports". You can try the EX website, if you can't obtain it there, they might redirect you to obtain it via mail.

ByrdMan,

Thanks for the clarification. I thought I remembered someone on here talking about lenders having a more "full report", but either I (or they) must have been mistaken.

It is possible I was thinking that lenders may have records including items no longer on your credit report. Depending on how well the lender has kept records some lenders may have more information about a borrower than appears on a CR (Old chargeoffs, lates, etc).

Oh yeah. Trust me, the banks/CCCs have tons more info on its customers than the CRAs do. And, they will hold the negative information against you.

Let's suppose someone had disputed some accurate information off of their reports (I know it doesn't happen IRL Smiley Wink) and then tries to apply at the place where they went bad. The bank would be able to dig into the "archives" and see what's really the case.
