Hello Everyone, Tonight after running my credit (Experian only) through myfico I discovered an odd credit reporting error which I don’t know if it would be a GOOD or BAD issue.
My Father currently has 2 mortgages through country wide.
1. $382,730.00 10yr ARM m/o $1600 From 2003
2. $648,350.00 10yr ARM m/0 $2800 From 2004
Beginning of this year through a simple assumption I attempted to add myself as a Co-Borrower on the 1st loan since I was making the payments and living in the location myself.
After doing all the paper work I received a letter stating that everything was processed and I was added as a Co-borrower on the loan. HOWEVER tonight I’ve discovered that countrywide had MISTAKENLY added and REPORTED me on my fathers 2nd loan.
My question is would my credit be better off staying with the larger mortgage OR the smaller but LONGER loan mortgage amount. After talking to them I was told that they do show they made a mistake and would resolve upon my request.!
