Hi there,
I just tried to pull my credit reports from annualcreditreport.com. I got my Transunion report, no problem. But I couldn't get my Equifax report online. I think I failed an ID verification question, even though I looked up my payment amounts for the accounts they asked about, etc, and am sure of the answers I gave them. It directed me to a mail-in form.
Does anyone know if I can try again to get it from the website, e.g. after waiting 24 hrs or some such time period to request it online? I'd like to get the report as soon as I can and don't want to wait for snail mail.

Equifax is known to do that, in hopes that you will "pay" the $10.95 for your report for the convience of receiving it online vs mail. Ironically, when you attempt to "pay" for the report, you somehow miraculously "pass" the ID verification questions. I screenshoted the evidence and filed a CFPB complaint against them recently for this very thing. I was able to quickly get them to provide my DH with his annual report online and a refund.
