Re: Credit Cards

It is my understanding that credit cards will fall of 7 to 7.5 years from DOFD.

Re: Credit Cards

Bankruptcy: Chapters 7, 11, and 12 remain for 10 years from the filing date. Chapter 13 remains seven years from the filing date. Accounts included in bankruptcy will remain seven years from the date they were reported as included in the bankruptcy.

Sorry to disagree just a little but I was just politely informed on the phone by a CSR at EQ a dismissed CH 13 BK remains on your EQ report for 10 years. Only a discharged CH 13 BK will fall off after 7 years.

Mine fell off TU & EX a long time ago. EQ says it stays until 12/08.
