If you first do a credit freeze with all 3 bureaus will that negatively effect the ability of an identity theft service to perform their abilities/services if I should opt to sign up/pay for one of those services?

It sounds like you had a problem with Equifax already. I'm wondering if someone (me) who hasn't had any foulups with Equifax would still have their reports blocked to a monitoring service?
I'm waiting on Identity Force to get back with an answer but it's been days. I suspect they've been slammed by questions.
As a last resort, I can always temporarily lift the freeze for each bureau, then sign on with IF and once IF starts the monitoring I can reimplement the freezes. Freezes do not affect companies that you're doing business with before placing a freeze.

Was wondering the samething. Also was looking at identiyforce myself. Let us know if they respond lol
Confirmed and re-confirmed. A freeze does not impede the ability of an identity service to scan your files at all 3 bureaus.
I signed the two of us up for the UltraSecure + Credit, it's the more complete of the two plans. It retails for 239/yr but paying for a year vs. monthly they knock off 2 months so it was 199/yr x 2.
Good overflow phone. If you're not picked up soon they start giving the option for a call back. That worked as advertised twice. Call back the same day. Forget email. They're slammed right now.
Current personal experience dealing with the bureau jerks.
Experian has been the best. Transunion a distant second and Equifax the pits.
After 4 days I've frozen my three and 1 for my wife. Of the remaining two, one was my data input fault (Transunion and she'll have to call) and Equifax's servers got constipated (again).
