Credit Freeze questions....

will a credit freeze prevent my Employer from checking things out to see if I have any new negatives or collections?

Will a credit freeze Stop my current creditors from reporting positive or negative payment and account info to credit agencies?

Will a credit freeze preven my current creditors to do soft pulls for possible account upgrades or CLIs?

Thanks guys and girls, young and old and to the millions out there watching these forums.

The most important question I have:

I work for a ("gotta have your credit in check" sometimes at random checks they do, sometimes every two years , "criminal record in check", and "random drug tests in check" and VERY STRICT INSIDE OPERTIONS CONFIDENTIALITY)

Anyways,

No if the employer has previously run a report they can get access.

A freeze doesnt stop creditors from updating your reports with info.

Yes and No, creditors can always get SPs for account reviews, some may not be able to get thru if you manually request CLI and a pull is needed

Be aware that HP's can be required for these in some cases and those would be blocked.

Also, don't overlook the info on freezes on the sites of the CRA's.
