Re: Credit Karma moving to once a week updates instead of daily

If money is tight, and one cannot afford to purchase monitoring, checking 1 bureau once per day has to be better than doing nothing at all......

Credit Sesame, although one can obtain EX scores only 1x/month, also has a free alert service. This would help to monitor what's going on at Experian....so 2 agencies would be covered.

Who am I kidding? Yes, I do pay for Amex's unlimited (once per day) 3 bureau-pullability--I have 2 jobs and at this point in life, I can afford it, and it gives me maximum peace of mind. But, like I said, if money ever got tight, I'd hope for the best that I could get by checking my scores as often as possible, and registering for the free monitoring services.

I like it to check for reported balances and credit limits.   Once a week is fine for me.

Re: Credit Karma moving to once a week updates instead of daily

i tried the new site and there seems to be a few bugs here and there.

all my card balances are reverted to what it was a month prior, and an account that I had 3 CRAs delete from my CR is now marked as closed on CK instead, when that account was never mine and therefore should never have been on my CR.

So how do we update our scores btw with this new system?

JPMorgan Palladium (100k), AmEx Platinum (NPSL), AmEx SPG (46k), AmEx BCP (42k), Chase Sapphire Preferred (47k), Citi Prestige (31k), Citi Thank You Preferred (27k), Citi Executive AAdvantage (25k), JPMorgan Ritz-Carlton (21k), Merrill+ (15k), US Bank Cash+ (22.5k), Wells Fargo (12k), Bloomingdale’s (12.4k), Chase Freedom (5k), Discover IT (5k).

It's a FAKO. It's worthless.

Glad to know that.Looked at my score there one day and it was quite a bit lower than here on myfico. It went even lower after my collection fell off which I thought was strange at the time.

Re: Credit Karma moving to once a week updates instead of daily

Who cares if they were FAKOs, that wasn't the appeal for me. It was daily monitoring and even though it was only TU, it was still FREE and DAILY. I know it was very quick and accurate as HP showed up and alerted me within 24-48 hrs, balances, CLI, Util, etc. This news sucks.
