I am in the process of repairing my credit and need advice on which credit monitoring service to use. I started off with TrueCredit but recently found out that it uses a Vantage score and not a Fico. I switched to mycreditkeeper. I was told that this score is a blend between a Beacon and a Fico. Can anyone tell me which service will give scores that are at least comparable to Fico scores?
I just cancelled Truecredit ( not happy with their service ) and I was thinking of going with credit check total. Does anyone know if they are a good monitoring service ?
Myfico scores are the only true scores...and they offer eq and trans. You can get them thru this site. this site has been great for me.
That's not quite true. You can also purchase your Equifax score at www.equifax.com (If you look hard enough) and your Transunion score at www.transunioncs.com. However if you do buy at myfico I suggest you do an internet search for "myfico discount codes" to save a little money.
