Re: Credit Monitoring Services (CMA) List

TrueCredit--shows mm/dd/yyyy for dates of report updates for EX and TC (useful for timing payments for util management); only mm/yyyy for EQ

Which other reports show the exact date that the creditors report? thanks

And thanks, SmartCookie, very useful post!

Re: Credit Monitoring Services (CMA) List

Thanks guys I'll get that updated.  While I'm at it I suppose I should edit it to CMS and not the Country Music Awards.  Busy evening!  Multi-tasking without coffee is not easy I tell ya.

Re: Credit Monitoring Services (CMA) List

creditchecktotal.com pricey at $30.00 a month, but an ex product so if you get booted by tc, ex will still let you in. no 24+1 and is the same format as amex cs.

Re: Credit Monitoring Services (CMS) List

BoA offer's credit monitoring called privacy assist if you purchase credit insurance with them on your cc. They send a copy of EQ credit report and FICO score.

After speaking with someone at TU, I got talked into signing up with credit monitoring for all 3 bureau's. Only bad thing is you have to call an 800 number to check alert's and report's. Free for 30 day's, with option to cancel. 9.95 a month if you keep. Think I will cancel, but they did send my credit report for TU and my Vantage Score.

Re: Credit Monitoring Services (CMS) List

CreditKeeper - one pull of all three (merged) every 30 days.  PLUS scoring for each.  Nice what if simulator (can tweak very account) and scenario sim.  Alerts for score changes, derogs added, inqs, new accounts, etc  $9.99/month

Re: CreditCheck Total Alerts are terrible!

My wife an an inquiry on her EX report and CCT hasn't made a peep!  It's been three days, and it does show on her report from CCT.

Re: CreditCheck Total Alerts are terrible!

PrivacyGuard--very similar to creditchecktotal in content and format. $10.95 per month, but I had to pay for full 12 months in advance (may have changed since--this was about a year ago when I "accidentally" signed up when I tried to cancel my trial 1 day too late).  Monitors EQ daily and alerts generally got to me 1-2 days quicker than SW alerts.  Refresh 3 CRA merged report every 30 days.
