I like this from that site:

The good news: The impact of this negative (late payments) lessens over time. The formula goes something like this: One year out, late payments count as 93 percent negative, at two years, 60 percent; three years, 33 percent; and by four years it's down to 22 percent negative.

There is hope after all!

Yes, I read that also. It's good to finally know how much weight my prior late payments carry. I haven't had any lates of my own in over 3 years, but I am an AU on a Macy's card that was late once last June. I just sent GW letter to try and have it removed.
