Re: Credit spree after rebuild

Yes Sir, thanks for the suggestion, i always acknowledge other people advice cause thats how you learn in life, i dont know everything

The auto loan for my business was the last one.

I only want one 2 other cards and thats amex and simmons just because its hard to get. got denied by both for too many inquiries. so it will at least be a year but most likey a year and a half , cause next time i dont want to get denied.

Of course anything can happen in life between now and then, but for now im good and im chillin. (ps im still scared to use any of the cards

i only been using the discover instead of my debit card for everyday purchases and utilitys and i will pay 75% of it off every month at statement.

Unless you have a 0% promotion it is recommended to pay in full by the due date. Otherwise you will suffer from the interest rate set on the account.

Simmons Bank is super conservative and the only real way in with them is without any HP's or negatives. That and the products are not that good from them. Those need 2 years until they drop off. AmEx is not that complex but if you have too many HP's even they get scared. Depending on the card you might have been able to recon AmEx if you have a lot of HP's from auto/mortgage in 45day blocks. Generally recon needs to be done within 30 days or the denial is permanent.

You can take the debit card and store it in case of emergency for a quick $20 ATM. Dont be scared to use your cards. Every purchase you make should be profit for you. I hang mostly in the rebuild section and give the same advice. Let the banks pay you to use their card. Such as CB for all purposes. You dont want to pay intesrest and lose out on what your earned. (Emergency Only) Use them all you want. Just keep one to report less than 8.9%. Then PIF before due date. This is your probation time for bigger things that will come as your accounts age and your scores rise up. Then more and more doors will open up and then its smooth sailing. Good Luck!

Sir? Make me feelold. Wait. I am! Smiley Very Happy
