Credit.com 2 different scores

I use TU score and credit.com free score.  I used EX score early and want to say EX official score fom their site was the same as credit.com score.

I read many topics here and more people says that credit.com score is FACO score, not FICO.

Help me understand what scores on credit.com - FICO or FACO? And what's about Vantage score?  Which score lenders use?

Here is my last scores from credit.com.  I am very surprised to see very big difference between these 2 scores.

Re: Credit.com 2 different scores

Noticed yesterday on my nudge to an EX puller application that their Vantage Score is reasonably close to my actual FICO which by the way FICO trademark score is THE score over 90% lenders depend on for issuing credit.

As always Credit.com/CreditKarma/Credit Sesame are FAKE = PHONY = INACCURATE ONLY scores for entertainment purposes in case you didn't know.

Re: Credit.com 2 different scores

The only true fico score is from myFICO. Anything else is a fako and is simulated by the respective site your viewing it on, i.e. Credit Karma, credit.com etc. Sometimes Fako scores can be close or wildly off from your true fico score. Either way fako scores are to be taken with a grain of salt and should have an asterisk that says for entertainment purposes only, because sometimes they are laughable. Use the free sites for information but get your score from MyFICO.

Re: Credit.com 2 different scores

My credit.com score is 784.  The Vantage 3.0 was in the mid 600's for a while but then came up to the 720's.  It's a frustrating thing but once a year you can get a free credit score that uses 3 FICO scores.  I know CreditKarma recommended my first credit card.  A Barclays Rewards Mastercard for $500.  Looking back I feel duped because I had excellent credit and could have attempted something much better.  I cosed the Barclays card by the way.  Even your credit card companies who say they offer you a free FICO score can have wildly different scores.  Credit.com makes me feel good because it says I am near 800.

Hah ha. Same here. They already have me 750 + after a major hit from that same bureau that they draw some of their reporting from.

Correction, there are other sites out there that offer FICO scores. I'd say a rule of thumb is, if it doesn't say FICO score, then, it's FAKO. Plain and simple.

The top score is your Experian National Equivalency Score, the bottom is VantageScore 3.0 neither is a true FICO score, both are supposedly used by lenders (but I'm yet to experience that/see some actual proof towards it other than Experian says so). For some people those scores are similar to each other AND their FICO (08) score, for others all three differ wildly. Point being, you can't use one to predict the other or your actual FICO score.

P.S. Just for illustration, here's my ENEC and VS3 which differ only in 1 point. How is my profile different from yours, I do not know, but stuff is clearly weighed differently even though I think EX flat out developed the top score and had a hand in developing the bottom score. I don't have access to my EX FICO, but FWIW my TU FICO 08 from the same timeframe is 720 (which ENEC is supposed to "emulate" as I've read somewhere).

You're right thanks for the correction. I know it has to say FICO to be a true FICO score just wasn't sure it was offered outside of here or being supplied by a lender, Thanks.
