Re: Credit.com starting new monitoring product

Some further observations:

a) There does not appear to be a way to see/print prior reports. If you want history, you need to print or save to PDF each month, for each of the three bureaus because they don't offer a consolidated report.

b) They seem slow on the update. Last Wednesday the report said "Next report in 1 day", but it's now the 14th and the TU and EX scores for the 10th have not posted. EQ scores won't update for a couple more weeks, they are out of sync with the others. My recollection is that MyFICO is quicker than this.

Re: Credit.com starting new monitoring product

Thanks @FlaDude That answers one of my questions regarding history as I just signed up 9/1.  Is there a way to print the report with scores?  It looks like it only provides the report data. Haven't followed this thread in while but do you know if there is suppose to be updates to FICO 9 or any score throughout the month or only the monthly update?

Although most of my scores currently don't produce reason codes I could probably live with this service is they provided them.  I'll probably cancel and retain myFICO as their reports offer much more info that I'm interested in with a consolidated report.

As far as I have seen, the reports don't include scores, I've been printing the page to PDF for mine, but that is a bit tedious 3X. They provide no alerts or score updates during the month, just the monthly update. I'm surprised that they would put the money and effort into creating a new product like this without scoping the competion, but that certainly appears to be the case. Early on they solicited feedback and I mentioned lack of alerts and score updates vs. myFICO, but never heard back and they haven't done anything yet. They did say early on that more features could be coming, but I haven't see a change since they started other than taking a couple of weeks before they reported EQ scores.  I'll definately keep it at the introductory price, but considering the limitations vs. myFICO, I wouldn't pay $25 unless they make some improvements.

Has anyone who has subscribed had a September update yet? Mine shows it should have updated on the tenth, but no update yet. I contacted support and they say my account has been updated for September, but it is still not showing up.

Re: Credit.com starting new monitoring product

@FlaDude  My update was listed to happen on 9/12 but it actually happened on 9/13. Had to unlock files as well before update could go through.

Thanks, their support group asked if my files where frozen, and I told them they never have been. I'm still waiting to hear back. I cleared my browser cache and even tried another browser, but no luck so far.

Re: Credit.com starting new monitoring product

@FlaDude This thread seems to indicate some issues for this product currently but have you been able to determine if the next "available" report date is the same time every month regardless of when you pull it on or after next available date like myFICO or moves 30 days from the date last pulled like EX?

  • myFICO's "next available" is on the 2nd each month even if I wait until the 15th to pull it which gives me updates through the 15th but will still be available on the 2nd the following month.
  • EX "next available" is always available a month after pulling the last. I started on the 17th, pulled it late one month on the 24th and next available report date was a month from the 24th with updates through 24th.

Re: Credit.com starting new monitoring product

@Trudy - I haven't tried to determine that yet. The score graph shows future dates that are spaced a month apart. My September date had been showing as 9/10, but due to some glitch on their end did not update until the 16th. The graph then changed to use 9/16 as the base date for the future scores. I've been logging in on the date that I expect the updates so I don't know what happens if I hold off checking for a few days, or skip a month entirely. I'll try to hold back a few days one of these times, but it's hard to do when I know updated scores are ready for me to see!  As a side note, they waived one month's payment because of the update glitch.

Re: Credit.com starting new monitoring product

Thanks.  No worries.  I'll test it in October by pulling a few days later than the shown next day available.  When I signed up this month there was a problem with TU and it was not available for another 3 days.  So I'll pull all on TU's day or the day after.
