Re: Credit.com starting new monitoring product

Tried to login the other day and it said my billing did not go through... and offered me to resign up for Extracredit at full price... so i chatted up Amex and they were like.. oh they cancelled the transaction... your card is alright and not frozen.. Was a really pleasant and quick conversation..

If it was for the end of the offer, I kinda expected a notification either on login or email or. both about it....

Sent them an email friday after it happened.. Dont expect to hear anything untill monday or tuesday about it..

I haven't had any issues, once they got my billing straight. For their "Extra Credit" service, all the scores update every two weeks like clock work. No problems pulling data from any of the CRAs. I have noticed they've listed one of the 90 day latest as 60 days on EQ only, and they've already dropped an inquiry on all three due drop off in January, so EQ is showing as inquiry free.

@AdkinsAre you sure you're seeing updates as stated (For their "Extra Credit" service, all the scores update every two weeks like clock work)

Far as I know and have experienced the product updates once every 30 days.

It's been every two weeks for me, see my latest email notifications. The app tells me my next update is in four days, if I remember right.

Every two weeks!!Every two weeks!!

Yup, right on time:

I wish it was 806!!I wish it was 806!!

Yes, I know - and it does. That's just the email I received reminding me to check my report. I'd take a screen shot to prove it to you, but it isn't allowed. If I have enough time, I'll have a co-worker take a picture of it for me, since you don't seem to believe me.

@AdkinsNot that I doubt the veracity of your statements I was just wondering if they update some every 14 days and some every 30 days and what criteria is that based on.

I have the introductory plan of 5 dollars a month and if you have the 25 dollars a month plan that may be the difference.

Here's a pic of when my extracredit updates occur...Every 30 days.

(anyone else with the product can chime in)

I know when I had the free credit.com account it updated every 14 days but of course it only gave one score and not 28.

I see they have added a few things like reason codes and explanations under all 28 scores now and I hope they add other new things comparable to other similarly priced services before my introductory price is up.

Here's the weird thing: it always says the next update is in 30 days on the page but it always updates every 14 days but it only records the FICO 9 score on the chart once a month, like yours shows in the picture. I have the $5 promo account. I had a bit of trouble getting it set up and had to get customer service involved.

Re: Credit.com starting new monitoring product

Seems like the rep you talked to set you up for double the service at 1/5th the price. You must be insanely charming over the phone! 😁
