Hello! Sorry if you have discuss this before, I couldn't find it, new here
Yesterday went to a car dealership to get a new car, they've run my credit and results: "Credit score unknown" with Experian... Called Experian today and they told me it might be an identity theft (yes, could be) and was trying to sell me some kind of program for $300 that will apparently help me and restore my credit to a perfect score withing a couple of months. I didn't buy it and now I am wondering if someone had that ever happend to them and how you resolved it? Thanks!
Do you have loans like a car or home and or credit cards currently?
No, nothing like that....
In order to have a FICO score, you would need at least one account reporting payment history for a minimum of 6 months. Have you ever had any credit accounts before ?
Oh, of course I am still paying my student loan and had a car loan which was paid off about 3 months ago...

If that is the case then you should definately have a FICO score, assuming that these accounts are reporting to Experian.
Pull your Experian credit report and see what's on it. Annualcreditreport or whatever, in this instance it's worth paying the 8 bucks or whatever if you can't get it for free in my opinion.
