Credit unions and overdraft LOCs

I recently opened a checking account through a local credit union. It's mandatory that you accept an overdraft LOC. This unsecured loc shows on my credit reports as a loan. Terms are other IIRC, and amount owed is 0$. So, does this have any influence on my report and score (horray for credit mix) or is this just something that will sit overlooked when the App Computers determine the fate of my credit apps? This is the first I've ever encountered this...

Re: Credit unions and overdraft LOCs

Most overdraft lines of credit report this way. I have a $10,000 LOC with Citibank and a $5,000 LOC with U.S. Bank for my checking accounts' overdraft protection. I never use them since the APR is ridiculously high, but they do indeed report to your credit report, just as any other credit-driven product would.
