I find it really helpful to have the different score versions from myFICO. Does anyone miss that who switched to CCT?

I dont. You only get them when you pull a new report so they are outdated 98% of the time. Besides that, lenders I have dealt with have just used the FICO score. To me, its just a gimmick to get you to spend 60 bucks on new reports. Trying to make make you think you need an updated version of those scores when you go to purchase something. You dont.

Wait till you apply for a mortgage and your opinion will likely change on that count Smiley Happy.

Anyway, you can still get the 3B instant in time pulls just you don't get the $20 discount anymore.  Not a big deal, for me other than mortgage or auto shopping I don't see a lot of point in getting them other than I will pull once per year as an annual benchmark.

Re: CreditCheckTotal

I doubt it. By the time I get to thinking of a mortgage, my scores will likely be north of 800 or pretty darn close. The only purpose of a credit service to me then would be monitoring for fraud etc.

What number did you use to contact them?

I just called to cancel through their automated system and they offered me 50% off for the next 5 years! Score!

I'm gonna have to try it out. I have Experian Credit Tracker $9.99/month

How come they ask my phone# when I sign up? so they can call you and tell you if you got approved?

I just called the 800 number on their website. I was offered the automated customer service option, chose that and selected to cancel my membership. The automated system then offered me the 50% discount for 5 years and I accepted.

Re: Credit Check Total

Recently switched as well.. Alot more bang for your dollar at $15/month daily EX Fico updates and 3 reports for EQ/TU a month with Fico08 scores.. Can't be beat.  MyFico needs to get on the ball and release a competive product and improve 3b as well so it doesn't lag as much.

Re: Credit Check Total

The five years at 50% off sure sounds great.

Has anyone that is on the two years at $14.97 plan tried to get the five year deal?

Re: Credit Check Total

I think the 5-year deal is like a 5-year NFL contract. Who knows what's going to happen that far from now. FICOs and credit report reviews should be 100% free by then. Plus, we'll finally have flying cars.
