Ohh Man!!! I have Experian Credit Tracker Too... does this mean I will not get the 50% offer either??! ![]()
Did you try to cancel the CCT while having Experian Credit Tracker still open?? Were you planning on keeping both open?
Do you think I have a better chance cancelling the Experian Credit Tracker and then trying to get the 50% discount on the CCT??
Thanks for all the input.
I already had Experian credit tracker, I signed up for CCT and then got the 50% "discount". Then I canceled EX credit tracker. Didn't have a problem.
seezar thanks alot!! I do hope that I get that as well..
The only thing that I don't like much is that the history of the scores etc.. on CCT isn't showing up as it does on the EX creditracker... probably because I been with them longer... I was hoping the score history would transfer but it didn't :/ I like knowing where I was and where I'm going with regards to the score ![]()
Thanks for the input.

Yeah, I noticed the same that my history started over again. But I keep a spreadsheet that I note the date and score whenever a score changes (It's overkill but I like my spreadsheets) ![]()
LOL!!! You are so like me... I thought I was the only looney person that stressed and was obsessed with this score matter..
Thanks I'll have to start doing that..
When was it that you cancelled the EX Creditracker to start with the CCT?? just want to make sure I don't make the wrong move.. this upcoming Monday is the end of my trial period with CCT and I would have to call and cancel but I still have the EX creditracker open.. just making sure.. I also have the EQ Plat. Monitoring so hopefully I'll be saving some money there ![]()

So how I did it is left my credit tracker membership alone. Signed up for the CCT trial on a Friday and the following Tuesday called them up to cancel the trial and they offered me the discounted price so I kept it (which was my intention).
I then waited until day 9 or so when I started getting daily EX updates through CCT. At that point I emailed them to cancel my EX Credit tracker.
Ooohhh... Ok I got it.. so if I signed up for the CCT on Tuesday of this week.. I shall just call now right?? its been 3 days... or should I wait? On my CCT there hasn't been anything updated yet.. just the initial credit report and scores..
I called to cancel CCT, and got the 5-year 50% offer. I took that then called to cancel Experian Credit Tracker. The CSR mentioned she saw I had the two accounts and wanted to know which one I wanted to close. I said Credit Tracker, and she gave me the speech about how smart it is to monitor your report and score, etc. Even though she knew I was keeping a service with them. Geesh. Then she offered me Credit Tracker for $9.99 a month. I turned that down and kept CCT for half price.
I ended up with what I wanted, but it was a long painful call in which I gave my info to the same CSR three times.
