Re: CreditCheckTotal

The # now is the same for ECT 1-877-284-7942. That's not the number I called.

You're not calling the right #. Some how the # for EX Credit Tracker also appears on CCT's site and if you call it then it says to email. Login and look under account and check for another #. I got the 5 year offer.

+1

In addition, call at an off time when it's less likely for a CS to answer, such as on the weekend or early / late on a weekday. Verifying one's account info can be dicey with the automated system, but once verifed, the 5 year promo will likely be offered straight away. Accept offer and it's done. The pricing in My Account will still say $29.95, but the actual charge deducted monthly will be the discounted amount.

On a related topic, the Plus Score display glitch is still around - seems to come and go. Regardless of whether Plus Score heading or FICO 8 heading is shown, the scores are FICO 8. Display glitches abound on CCT, but fortunately are of little real consequence. Ie. some judgements will be shown with incorrect / meaningless dates (1/1/2000, 1/1/0000, etc), but internally, the date information is correct - no action required.

Re: My CCT now says PLUS score, not Fico

Even in my historical reports list, they say plus and Fico.

Sept 17 - 3 Bureau Credit report with Plus scores

Sept 28 - 3 Bureau Credit report with Fico scores

Oct 1 - 3 Bureau Credit report wiht Plus scores

All of the experian daily reports say fico.

What is going on?

Re: My CCT now says PLUS score, not Fico

EX may still be offering Plus scores for other services (ie. banks, issuers, etc that provide "free" scores) utilizing the same framework as CCT.

In short, it's a display glitch. Ideally, CCT should fix it, but in the meantime, pay no mind to "Plus" - it's FICO 8 all the time. Never seen a scoring discrepency yet.
