No I shouldn't have.

Really don't have an answer for that. It still shows I have one more pull in 6 days. I don't know if there are different times to call and you get diffferent reps or whatnot but whenever I've called, other than a week or so ago I've called right around noon eastern and always gotten helpful knowledgeable people. I don't understand your rep's reluctance to pull a report when one offered me one without even asking back in August, giving me 4 in a period. Has anyone else actually tried calling?
When is/was your billing date?
The rep knew exactly what I was talking about when I called.
English was definitely his first language.
He was polite and I was polite.
He stuck to his guns that CCT would not budge on this "service change effective October 8"
I graciosuly asked for them to provide me with a pull six times.
I firmly asked for a refund 3 times.
Only once I said I would file complaints did he acknowledge that he could provide a refund but would have to cancel my service immediately.
Admittedly, I thought he was bluffing.
I am sure I wont be the only one to cancel and be offered a new trial immediately.
The fact that the supervisor sent the call back to him makes me think they are getting more of these calls than they want.
I mean I got nothin at this point. My bill date is the 28th, I pulled one probably the 3rd or the 4th, then again the 15th, and it says 6 days atm, basically it's showing mine literally hasn't changed yet. Now I have no clue if on the 22nd the rug will be pulled out from under me, but until then I'll just hope and pray.
In terms of your interaction I'm pretty surprised. Back when I signed up in July I pulled reports Willy nilly and didn't have a report for my August 18th pulls. Dialed them up, asked if they could bill me early, rebuffed, acted crushed(because I was), he asked what I wanted it for, I told him mortgage(was for cc but hey I wanted the pull) he said he would do a courtesy one and it wouldn't affect my pulls.
When the time came for my pull to refresh around the 25th of August, it immediately went to a higher number again(never hit zero) dialed them up again, explained situation, rep checked with a supe, pulled the report for me, this time it did not reset any clocks at any time. Technically they pulled reports twice for me when I couldn't(net gain was only one pull).
I'm very surprised they didn't do it for you, I got nothin.
If I'm not able to do my pull on the 22nd I will be calling them up though, before all this went down I had every rep notate my account to confirm I'd get my 3. The first pair I spoke to definitely notated it, because the 2nd/3rd reps repeated the notes to me. Dunno if the 3rd person did, but I'll find it in a few days I suppose
I received the 1/2 price $14.97 5 year deal about 3 months into membership all through the automated line only. Listened to the message, pressed 1, and it was done.
As for missing and delayed 3B pulls. Saw that one coming from a mile away. About the best one can hope for is cancelling and receiving a full refund for the current month. For me CCT, despite the 3B pull cutback and delay, is still worthwhile.
If MyFICO 3B monitoring offered monthly full report and FICO scores pulls, I'd likely switch over. Quarterly is an improvement, but still not frequent enough; too much can change in that time. Regardless, $29.95 is too high for that. If MyFICO could get the price down to $24.95, or even better yet, $19.95, I'd join straight away. For now, CCT still offers the best deal around for many.
Ditto. My free 3B pull was supposed to be today, and it's been delayed again!
I get the sense CCT, as we knew it, is dead. It seems only a matter of time before Experian rolls what's left of CCT into to Experian Credit Tracker, etc. Hope I'm wrong...
If I can't pull 3B by Nov-9th, then it's bye, bye to CCT. I'm ok paying for reports and scores, but not $29.95 per month that MyFICO charges - get that down to around $20 with monthly 3B pulls with FICO scores and I'm game. CCT was the middle ground. When the price is too high, many seek out alternatives. Credit reports, of varying detail, are a cinch to get via free services (CreditKarma, CreditSesame, Creditcom, Quizzle, etc), via dispute access at the bureaus (bonus: shows SPs and more payment detail), etc. And there are various backdoor ways for getting free FICO 8 scores. All in all, there are work-arounds, but none as convenient as CCT.
Last pull was oct 4th, next wasn't available until today for whatever reason. Logged in to get it to see it is now 13 days away, nov 1. So if you pulled one or two in early oct before the change on the 9th, you got your monthly pull apparently and cant pull again until november, per csr just now. No one was "grandfathered in". Hence all of the people seeing the date changed on them.

Well, I just logged in to CCT and today was the day I was supposed to pull my 3-bureau and now it says I have to wait another 21 days. I only pulled twice since my new billing period on the 24th and the last time I pulled was October 8th. It then said I'd have to wait 8 days to pull again which would have been today. Unfortunately, I just logged on and they screwed me not only out of my 3rd pull for this period or even my new 1 pull after the new system on the 9th but I have to wait weeks after my next billing period to pull again.
I'd like anyone who was defending this company the past two weeks to attempt to defend or explain this to me.
Also, to anyone who has gotten a waiting period after the 9th that's soon to run up- don't hold your breath. The clock most likely will reset.
Its because your oct 8th pull counts as your monthly pull. So you have to wait until nov now. Doesnt matter that you still had one left, they count it as you having used your one monthly pull already that they now offer, even though it was before the change, they dont care apparently. Sucks.
