Re: CreditCheckTotal

My last 3B pull was Sep-26th. Next one should be Oct-27th, but who knows how long that date will hold up before it's pushed back again.

I visited CCT homepage again and read all through it, and it seemingly doesn't mention anything about monthly pulls. It clearly mentions a 3B pull with scores upon signup, but then goes on and on about monitoring and identity protection. Seems CCT has become like MyFICO 3 Bureau in which one gets full reports and FICO scores at the start and then mostly monitoring beyond that.

Bottom line, from all indications, 3B pulls with scores for current CCT customers may be done. Figure on cancelling.

Signing up for a new $1 trial every so often may be the only way now to get 3B reports via CCT. It's bizarre how CCT is outright lying to current customers - where are the consumer protection agencies when one needs them? But that's a whole topic in itself. For me, it's back to the old ways for getting report data and FICO scores ... CCT was so convenient when it worked.

From the CCT FAQ page. They haven't bothered to edit the bolded part to reflect the changes from almost a month ago. Telling people they can get 3 3B reports per month when that isn't true at all. A month is plenty of time to fix a website to make sure people aren't paying for something they think they are getting when in reality what they are getting is way way different.

Re: CreditCheckTotal

Thanks for the clarification. Assuming "every 30 days" is for real, then my upcoming 3B pull on the 27th could really happen. Or maybe CCT has changed their service terms again - time will tell.

Re: CreditCheckTotal

Or maybie their website is misleading customers into paying for something they aren't actually getting, and Experian can't be bothered to fix it.

Re: CreditCheckTotal

I haven't posted anything on here lately but I have been reading all of the replies. I'm very discouraged by CCT and my dates keep getting changed too. Allegedly in 3 days is my next 3 bureau pull. If it is pushed out once again, then I will also have a few words with them and cancel. I'm really not in a rebuilding phase right now and my scores are pretty much staying the same plus/minus a couple of points. I get a true FICO 8 with a couple of my credit cards too.

Too bad it's come to this. I did like the idea someone said if you really need to see your scores, pay the $1 then cancel it.

Re: CreditCheckTotal

Ditto. Exactly 30 days from last 3B pull. Long as I can 3B pull monthly, CCT is a keeper. Won't be cancelling and no BBB complaint. Received the monthly pull as advertised. Though, as with many others here, lost a 3B pull(s) along the way in the transition from 3 to 1. Shame how they handled this, but overall, CCT is still a good value.

If they really do the one pull per month then I'm happy too, so we'll see what happens coming up.

Re: CreditCheckTotal

I'm glad to see people are getting their monthly pulls. Alhough a supervisor gave me a date that has now passed and the landing page tells me that I am two days away, I fully expect not to get a pull before November. My last pull was on 10/2. As long as I can pull on 11/2, I'll continue to pay $15 per month.

More than enough credit.

Re: CreditCheckTotal

My last 3B pull before the CCT Armageddon meltdown of 2015 was on October 5th and the CCT system said I could pull again on Oct. 19th. They've since pushed that date to October 30th/31st (keeps changing), but I think they're going to "pass me over" until Nov. 5th.
