Re: CreditCheckTotal

Yeah, check it out. I think you will be pleasantly surprised. Yeah, my main problem with TU is that it's just so slow updating.  How much did EQ offer for a discount? I think I'm paying like $16 for daily pulls. If I can get 50% off I'd possibly keep it. I def don't need TU, that will be cancelled.

Haha yeah, the Mustang has now embraced a novel engineering invention called an independent suspension. It can actually turn now. I had a '14 GT with the solid stick axle and there's nothing quite like hitting an imperfection in the road while cornering. The confidence inspiring feeling of your rear-end kicking out from behind you.

I plan on calling EQ between today and tomorrow, I shall update you with their offer. I currently have Equifax Complete Premier Plan, so even at a 50% discount, I'll go ahead and keep it. I know that TU, and EX, both offered me 50% off when I called to cancel. Im going to go ahead and start that trial with CCT tonight

I saw a few GT's at the track about two months ago, I always see them stomp on the brakes right before those sharp turns haha have you seen the video reviews on the final production NSX? That car..... jeez

Re: CreditCheckTotal

The daily Experian and once a month TU/EQ pulls have been set this way since October-2015 with CCT! They royally screwed people over with that move. Even a twice a month TU/EQ I'd pay double for.

Re: CreditCheckTotal

The three pulls was the reason i signed up because it was different from others. I still have the service but they should have kept it.

Re: CreditCheckTotal

I think Experian caught me manipulating the CCT $1 7-day trial every single month since they went down to 1 3B pull per month. I was getting my 3B report for $1 every month by rotating my cards around as the payment method. You can't use the same payment method on two consecutive months for the 7 day trial. You can get away with it if you have at least 3 different cards (debit VISA/MC or credit card).

So this month after I canceled & received the cancelation confirmation email, they still charged me $29.99. Even though I had the cancelation email and associated call logs time stamped around the same time as the email, Experian wouldn't reverse the charge. I did a chargeback.

I think they were trying to get some money back for all the $1 reports & scores I got out of CCT. Maybe someone backed my cancelation out of the system and that's why they had no record of me canceling at the CSR level.

Might be time for me to pack my bags and take this circus on the road.

^^^
I'm still doing my $1 or $2 a month pulls. I've been doing this since last year. I use a different username each time I pull.

Re: CreditCheckTotal

We can have two Experian customer IDs? I didn't know that.
