Re: CreditCheckTotal

Yeah I just rotate usernames/ email address. So far so good..works every time. I just cancelled my subscription a few hours ago. I'll do it again around the 4th or 5th of next month.

Re: CreditCheckTotal

So far I am a big fan of CCT.

Once I get things settled, I will probably cancel myFICO. It just doesn't update in a timely manner, and 3 months for all three scores is too long. It's also way too expensive.

EX seems to be the most used for me, so CCT's pretty fast updates on a daily basis to EX works for me, and with once a month for the other two I'll be good.

I got the discount on CCT so even more worth it.

I'm still doing my $1 or $2 a month pulls. I've been doing this since last year. I use a different username each time I pull.

Do you use a different email address as well or the same one?  I read somewhere that you need to change your email address.  Do you also need to change your form of payment or use a different CC as someone else above mentioned?  Thanks.

Re: CreditCheckTotal

You don't have to change form of payment unless you just want to. Most people have a couple of email addresses. Just rotate them around. Do the same with username if different from email address. I've been using the same email/usernames, just rotating a different one each time I reactivate. It's worked like a charm! I've pulled up to 6 new sets of scores in a month. When tracking reports heavily. That's on 3 trials for $3. 1st of month, 15th and 30th.

Re: CreditCheckTotal

I was wondering about the form of payment limitation. I didn't think I could use the same card number on DW the same month I used it on mine.

So I could create a new username with a different email address, associate it with my personal info, and just punch in the customer # instead of my SSN when I cancel?

Re: CreditCheckTotal

It doesn't matter. It will associate your SSN with your account. You'll just get a email stating your account info has changed. For that period of time none of the other usernames will work when signing in. It's almost like you've opened a new account. Though the account will contain all of your history from your other accounts, not your wife's. It's a simple process. Only thing changes is your sign in info.

Re: CreditCheckTotal

I used a different e-Mail address, but used the same CC I used yesterday. I wonder if this is because I'm still under the 7 day trial, even though I cancelled yesterday?

Re: CreditCheckTotal

Yes it is, your trial must expire before reactivation.

You do get a 2nd pull 7 days from the first.

Re: CreditCheckTotal

2 pulls on the same trial for $1?

Yes you should see it in a side bar on the main CCT page. It will count down until time for the 2nd pull.
