Re: CreditCheckTotal

It's weird you guys are having to go to so much trouble changing payment methods and email addresses. I use the same one and about a week or so after I cancel, I log back in and it says I'm eligible for another $1 7-day trial. I've done it quite a few times.

Re: CreditCheckTotal

I'm receiving password reset request phishing emails from someone impersonating CCT. All the links inside the emails point the the exact same page, which has nothing to do with CCT or Experian.

It also happened to me at the beginning of the month (before I determined it was phish), and I clicked one of the links. I didn't fall for it this time around. The URLs the links point to is exactly the same across all the emails the phisherman is sending me. It could be a unique identifier that matches up to a particular CCT user. We won't know how widespread this is until more affected CCT subscribers in a similar situation come forward with and share their phishing experience.

Anyone else receiving phishing emails?  Here's a resource

https://www.experian.com/consumer/ca_phishing.html

And here is how to report phishing emails

http://www.antiphishing.org/report-phishing/overview/

Forward the actual phishing email itself to:

Re: CreditCheckTotal

How do you "refresh" you scores after 7 days?  I'm on Day 8 now, cancelled the $1 trial yesterday and the automated message said I'll still have account access until 5/6, which I still do.  I'm not seeing how to obtain my updated scores though; all 3 look identical from 8 days ago when I first pulled them.

ts.

You'll see the option on your right in the scroll down bar. It will have the blue view icon underneath it when your able to pull all three scores again.

Re: CreditCheckTotal

Got it, thanks!

I think it's worth noting that with 6 FICO 08 scores over the $1 trial period (2 pulls of 3 scores) it works out to just under 17 cents per score through CCT.  Definitely worthwhile for scores, and of course you get to access your 3 reports as well during the trial(s).

Re: CreditCheckTotal

Hi All,

Does CCT offer an iPhone app? So far, I've only been able to access them through their website. I'd vastly prefer an app..

Thanks!

Derogs from 2009 and 2010 now gone after 7 years. I started paying attention to credit scores in about 2014. It's taken a few years but credit scores are now good after starting in the high 500s back in 2011

Re: CreditCheckTotal

I wanted to post in this thread instead of creating another thread.

So, as of right now, 01/04/2017, this is my current deal with CCT:

* $14.97 a month for 60 months. (Was a deal the automated system offerred me when I called in to cancel last year)
(it still says they're going to bill me $29.95 every month on the payment information screen, but always bill half)

* Daily Experian pulls

* 3-Bureau report once EVERY 30 DAYS.

SO... does anyone have a better deal? Anyone get 3-B reports more often or pay less?  I use this in combination with CreditKarma, so it's kind of good. I get to see experian reports and score every day, TU and EQ reports once a week, and TU and EQ scores once a month. Not bad for $15 a month. (CK is free)

Wallet Hub offers free TU reports and Vantage scores daily. It's a great product with app and was just as good as the TU paid service I had so I canceled it. I like spreading the word about them because they're a great company.
