@Anonymous wrote:What's the automated phone # to cancel CCT?
1-866-506-7894
BrutalBodyShots,
I tried to call "1-866-506-7894" and it looks like it connects to live person automatically because it says "‘This call may be monitored or recorded for quality assurance…" so i just hung up!! so, is it required to speak with live person to cancel the service?
No. I've cancelled with the automated system probably 50 times using that number. If you do get a live person (I think I did once) just ask for the automated system. If you call super late at night / early morning usually you'll get the message with that number that it's after hours and to call back. That's normal. Try again and report back your results! You can also cancel via email which obviously can be done at any hour of the day and you have a written record of your cancellation that way. Something to consider if you can't get the automated system to work for you for whatever reason.

My guess is that sometimes the system can't find the account by using caller ID, or at that time they had someone available to try to offer you something so you don't cancel.
You can call again or use email.
Off topic to the current discussion here, but has CCT always updated your EX FICO 08 score every day during trial memberships? Perhaps full memberships too? I've only ever done trials, but have never noticed this. I always do my trial, get my 3B scores, then refresh them in 7 days.
On my most recent trial I got my 3B scores, then when I signed back in 7 days later to do a 3B refresh I noticed it said I still had 20-something days to go before I could do a refresh. Odd. I started a thread about that, seems it may have been a fluke. Anyway, I've been signing in every day or two just to see if it allows me to do my 3B refresh earlier (it still says 11 days to go) but what I HAVE noticed is that every time I log in my EX FICO 08 score is updated... saying it was generated "today" which I thought was odd. Perhaps this has always been the case and I just never noticed it? I'd be curious to hear what others think about this.

It's nice tho because a $1 will get you 2X 3B Reports. Once a the start and once a week later.
Right, except for this one most recent case which evidently is making me wait a month instead of a week for the 3B refresh. Strange.
Good info on the EX score. Thanks!
Thank you all! I was able to cancel thru the automated system. But it doesn't say about that cancellation on "My account" on the website. Is there a way to check just to make sure that it's really cancelled?

You should receive an email verifying your cancellation via the automated system. Usually that email comes within an hour or so.
Keep in mind you'll be able to log into your account even though you cancelled your trial membership. They tell you that they'll keep your account open as a courtesy for another 3 days or whatever, but you can log into your account as far as I know FOREVER after that. I've gone a period of 2-3 months without doing another trial membership and I was still able to log in 2-3 months after cancelling and could still access all of my archived 3B reports.

I usually cancel through that number via the automated system. I did end up canceling with a rep before at that same number and it was a pretty straightforward process. She didn't make it difficult to cancel surprisingly.
