I opened a US Bank Cash + card about 5 months ago and a savings account later in the fall. Soon I was starting to receive email alerts from CreditView concerning my TransUnion report. When I clicked on the view alert button, I was taken to the US Bank login page. Just to be sure it was really US Bank (I don't remember signing up for or being made aware of US Bank providing the CreditView service) I closed the tab and then signed into US Bank my normal way. There's a link on the US Bank dashboard that shows my credit score. When I click on it I'm taken to a page that shows my score with some general info but no CreditView dashboard.
Now today there's a link that says "see your credit score" which is weird because the page it's on already shows my credit score. But when I click on it, it now goes to the CreditView dashboard, complete with alerts, my TransUnion report, etc. I can now see all the alerts I got emails about over the past few months. The first time I got to the CreditView dashboard there was a "Welcome to the new CreditView dashboard" pop up.
I guess the alert function was operational before the CreditView dashboard could be accessed via US Bank's site. I can already get this info from other sources, but it's good to have it available through US Bank and finally read these mystery alerts.
I have 2 US Bank credit card accounts, both opened in 2022. I have always been able to access the rudimentary Credit View Dashboard which seemed to update monthly. Additional information was made available through a recent re-design which also provides more frequent updates.
