Why would a creditor remove a positive active account ($15,000+ balance) on all 3 credit bureaus? When I log into my account online, it is still open and current with payment due dates. My credit scores took hits with the removal. Will it come back and I take more hits for a "new account"?

I'm thinking more info would be required before anybody can make an informed suggestion, things like, what the rest of your credit profile looks like, the account type and financial institution for the account no longer reporting, how long that account has been open, what your credit limit is; you know, stuff like that.
Chapter 13:
I categorically refuse to do AZEO!
It was a revolving car loan with a balance over $15k still owed. Had the account in good standing since 2018. I have no collection or delinquent accounts. The loan is with Santandor but my state, Texas, is not included in the lawsuit against them.

Perhaps check your report to see if it's being listed somewhere as a closed account.
I checked! It is not listed anywhere.
@Anonymous Welome to myFICO forum . . . Have you attempted to contact Santandor's customer service -and/or- their management team? If so, what was their response?
