Bank of America, cause they will nickel andd dime you, they are worst than Dracula.
Amex, cause I once applied for one of their cc with an offer in the mail, my scores etc where awesome at the time 700+ and they deny me. Called recon and they gave me no reason for the denial just that my credit profile was different than what it was when they send me the prequalify, I still can't swallow that, a simple your balance on x cc is 11% and 10% or below is what we are looking for would have made it, but a plain, your report looks good but we still can't approve you pissed me off till this day.
Not sure I would call it blacklisting, but NASA is certainly on my list of "not sure it's worth the headache".
@JagerBombs89 wrote:So I have read countless threads on individuals being blacklisted due to charge offs and bankruptcy. There have been many reports that the creditor then might put you on a blacklist for "X" amount of years. So my question to you, which creditor has really upset you enough to put THEM on your personal blacklist?!
Personally, I was only two years into building my credit when I was involved in an accident that totaled my car. Since I was military and a member of PenFed, I applied through them for an auto loan under $10,000; instant denial. Tried to recon and they wouldn't consider it, even though my payment history was perfect and utilization under 20%. However I got approved from USAA for around 8%. Needless to say, I have blacklisted PenFed ever since and never applied for another product.
BofA has been on my blacklist since 1990
The predator lendors, Credit One, First Premier, Verve...
There is one bank I will never ever do business with again. My credit rebuild is on the upswing and I'm not where I want to be so they would probably tell me to go shovel dirt right now, but credit has a limited memory and some day they will want me and I will tell them to go shovel dirt (lol). This is Citi. They hurt my feelings and I will never go back. When a woman gets burned, she is gone forever.
Edited because the mods merged my thread and my original question was redundant
Capital One ......
Sub-prime, Credit1, FP.
Oops, I forgot to ask "and why?"
For me, because Citi balance chased me although I was not late with them and eventually paid the card entirely off. Oh, and they HP for CLI's. It's fine, they had a right to do it. And I have a right to take my business elsewhere.
Prolly USBank, SunTrust, and Wells Fargo...perfect payment history and no baddies ever, just higher use of util, and then bam! Out of nowhere, they close and shut down my accounts...

Yup. I know many like them, it's just my pick.
