Hi, I am looking for a inexpensive crerdit monitoring. Can you offer any advice if Crdit Karma is a good monitoring system.
thank you
Credit Karma will give you a rough idea of what your score is, as it is monitored by TransUnion. It is still only a FAKO score though, and the website doesn't update but maybe once every few weeks. It is free, but the way they make their money is through advertising and getting people to apply to credit cards through their site.
Got it, Thank you. My fico does the same thing right?

Welcome to myFICO.
CK and other services are discussed in this thread here onsite: CMS Guide

MyFICO does offer a monitoring service for TU, but you only get updated quarterly as changes occur. If you have lots happening, you might consider a CMS. As with nearly all CMSs out there, including Credit Karma, ignore the scores since they are not FICO scores. But as changes happen, you can selectively pull your FICO to see that score change.
For EQ, there is an ongoing monitoring product on myFICO and that's ScoreWatch.

CK is good for a daily TU pull. You won't be able to see specific detail'sabout TL but you will be able to monitor new accounts showing up, Transrisk/Vantagescore scores.
my FICOs and my Creadit Karma scores were pretty close. Could be a fluke though
I vote for USAA credit monitoring, if you're simply needing easy access to all three actual credit reports and don't much care about the actual FICO score. You can pull all three reports daily for something like $9/mo.
This amount also makes it easy to put activity on an unused card with minimal effort
FYI credit sesame does the same thing as Credit Karma for your Experian report. Thats two reports you can have for free yet to find a site that odoes Equifax yet.

They are similar but not the same. Unfortunately Credit Sesame does not allow a daily pull. I actually haven't received any updates from them and I signed up on 2/8. I'm not sure when or how often they do an update, but unlike Credit Karma, I can't sign on and manually update every day, or ever it seems.
