DISASTER

Disaster

This is a confession and would appreciate feedback. LOL. After learning that my FICO are improving I started applying for credits. I got approved for 3 accounts (Old Navy, Hooters Card, Bowflex)

I also have been added to my mother's accounts as her authorized user because she needed someone to pay her bills when she is away working. I agreed. Recently, she missed payments on 2 accounts by 3 days. It was reported in her report and was also reported to my credit profile as well.

Now, my score kissed the 500's again. I am no longer in 600's.

If I will be able to successfully delete 2 AU accounts, will my score go back to 600's? I believe my UTILIZATION has improved greatly because of th line of credits I have added like that of HOOTERS and BOWFLEX. I also have improved my MIXTURE of my accounts (Store, Credit, Loan). I was never late for the past few months.

I believe that the reason why my EXPERIAN FICO is on its 626 is they have acted on my requests to remove credit entries where I am not the PRIMARY USER.

I paid $45+ for 3 credit scores, just to see that my score have gone down.

Feedback will be appreciated.

PS

I just realized that I have been checking my credit score everyday, credit report every few hours, and applying for credit every now and then. I think I am exhibiting an addiction. I need to confine myself maybe. LOL

Re: DISASTER

Yep- Dump those AU's ASAP.

Call the OC and ask them to drop the AU and dispute them as "Not mine"

Do this ASAP so that other AA does not occur.

Re: DISASTER

Sounds like from your EX score that that's the way to go.

Once the AU's are off, I think your scores will probalby bounce back after 3 months of the original inq and approval.

This is definitely the flip side of being an AU. I'm AU on my husband's Discover, and it reports on the 18th of every month. I go crazy trying to keep him from using it right before it reports, and paying it off if he does. He is not plugged into all this, and doesn't want to be, either, LOL.

Re: DISASTER

Hold the elevator...does the OP mean 3 days late on two accounts or 3 days past 30 days late?

Re: DISASTER

Actually my mother got late for her HomeDepot account by 30 days, and another 30 days late for Cap1 last september.

She said payments were received 3 days late and she was assessed 29-30$ each. I was able to ask the CCCs to waive them and they did, but they are not willing to do GW adjustment.

So now, even though she has OK credit it is stained by 2 recent 30 days payment. Sadly, my reports were tainted as well with 30 days late because I was listed as AU.

Sears has done this, but it's still not 30-days late. I can't see how a CRA could verify this as a 30-day late unless the CCC doctor's-up the records...but why.

Did you dispute this and the CRA verified it?
