DISPUTE QUESTION/EXPERIAN

Hi everyone, I have filed a dispute with a collection agency with experian waiting for results of investigation although the collection account is still updating and increased the balance by $4.00 while still under dispute process can this collection agency do this, or should I say can experian allow this.  Thank you for any feedback

Yes they can.  You intitiated a dispute through the CRA which imposes no restrictions upon the CA, except that they must verify/update within 30 days.  It sounds like they did, and updated it to reflect a $4 increase.

A DV to the CA puts different restrictions on the CA.  You need to read up on DV, PFD and disputes.
