DOLA vs Date of last payment

I'm looking at a PAID CO from First Premier which has a DOLP of Oct 2001 and a DOLA of April 2004 I can't tell what the date of first Delinquency is. It also shows the green {paid as agreed} symbols from 2002-2004 I made no such payments. The last payment I made was when I paid it off in 2001. Every time I try and dispute this account they report it back to back to back so it dings my score. {and it does}. Last time they reported acct 6/7 then 6/8 and finally 6/10 I got alerts for each one and my score dropped each time.
for a total of 27 pts. I don't know if this is a new tactic to discourage you from disputing but it's working! I tried GW them, Nothing seems to work. According to eq and EX it comes off Oct/Dec 2008. If at all possible I would like to get this off this year, Any idea's ?

Thanks in advance.
E!

DOFD is stored at the CRAs, but for whatever reason they don't put it on consumer copies of credit reports. Give 'em a call and ask. They are supposed to tell you the DOFD.

Is this true. . . that everytime you dispute something and it is validated, it dings your score?  It seems like it should only happen once, right.  I would really like an answer to this.

It would depend upon what the something is. If you dispute an old late, and it comes back validated, then I cannot see anything changing. However, if the B.S. story about paid collections hurting less over time were true, then disputing a paid collection should in theory hurt.
