CK this morning showed that I had an account removed by the creditor and I am thoroughly confused. Its a gas card, and a limit of $300 (which is PLENTY) and I use it monthly for about $30 or so and PIF. Open since 2016 and expires 10/2019.
I called TU, but they couldn't help (call the creditor they said). Creditor is closed today for holiday.
Was just curious if anyone else has had this occur? Makes no sense to me.
I will call Valero again tomorrow when they are back open but its been bugging me all day.
**Edited to add I just used it this past Saturday. Also logged into my online account and everything appears normal**
It has happened to me as well.
Same CL, account is still active on my online account. Opened the account April of 2016. My account has always been in excellent standing.
I haven't used the card in maybe 24 months so I thought it was canceled.
I was wondering the same thing as yourself.

OK how weird is that??!?!
I will update what they tell me when I call in.
Ok so just off the phone with them. Apparently its a CK issue, the person I spoke with actually got the same thing and she works for Valero! LOL.
She further stated they will be reporting ONLY to Equifax from now on. Still doesn't know why it would show as removed on TU, but at least now we kinda know why. While on the phone I also requested an increase in CL while I was at it. Got $300 to $600 with no hard inquiry. That was plenty for me. Had I wanted more they would have had to do a hard pull.

It sounds like their reporting contract/agreemen with TU was terminated, which ends all reporting to that CRA.
