Re: DV sent 30 days ago, no response. What now?

send the letter by LADY  CMRRR to the CA.

Send copy of DV letter,GC and slip showing cert #.....also type in cert #.

dispute as NOT MINE!  The Ca had 30 days and could not validate (statue # ). They can not as the debt is not mine! They can not verify with you as they would be in violation of (statue#) and would put the (CRA) in violation of reporting inaccurate information.   FAX or CMRRR

going to the CRAs....always sign your name     BUT never sign when going to any CA!

Re: DV sent 30 days ago, no response. What now?

Happy,

To the CA, Is the statute FDCPA section 809 that they would be violating since they can not validate?

Also, is the statute the same (section 809) if the CRA report inaccurate info? Is it some kind of Fair Credit Reporting statute #?

Please help.

Send the letter as is except for the needed chnages - it is a court case that says it being on your CR is 'collection activity'.  Let them get it and wait a reasonable period for deletion (2-5 business days) then complain to the CRA by CMRRR; aso the tateAG and FTC at the same time..  See if they delete before doing that.

Re: DV sent 30 days ago, no response. What now?

Lady,

I will modify the letter as needed and send it to the CA and wait to see what happens after 2-5 business days.  If the CA don't delete then I will (complain) send copies of everything to the CRAs and complain the the AG and FTC.

Thanks for responding to my posts Lady!  It is greatly appreciated.
