DV worked!!! CA gone from EQ and EX so far!!!!

Yay!!!

I sent a DV to Harvard CA (ComEd electricity) which they signed for on 11/16.  I guess they didn't have any info to send me and when I didn't respond to their request for info, they had no choice but to delete.

When I checked PM123 today, the CA was removed from Eq and Ex.  They still have to be removed from TU.

Thanks everyone for your help!

I'm sure that you'll hear back from Octavia, but in the meantime, check out Frequently Requested Threads. The link is at the top of this page. Read Credit Scoring 101, if you haven't already, plus there are several other threads that relate to all this. Good luck!

Re: DV worked!!! CA gone from EQ and EX so far!!!!

HI-ALL,

Sorry I'm just getting back to you.

I first noticed this CA on my CRs when I went to re-fi my home in February this year.  When I found this wonderful website and wonder people here, I read a lot of the posts and asked questions before I acted.

I sent a DV to the CA (CMRRR) which they signed for on Nov. 16.  The reason I DVed them is because I knew my SOL had passed.  I had nothing to lose.

Since their time to respond was winding down, I was getting prepared to send a followup DV.  But when I checked PM123, the CA had already been deleted from EQ and EX.

Today, I checked PM123 and as I expected, it was also deleted from TU as well.

Re: DV worked!!! CA gone from EQ and EX so far!!!!

HI-ALL,

I believe I've read somewhere here that, if you paid the OC see if they (they OC) can get the CA to stop reporting.  Maybe the OC can send the CA a letter instructing them to stop reporting because the debt has been paid and make sure they send a copy to you for your records.

Maybe if you post your question, something like "Paid OC, CA still reporting", you'll definitely get responses from someone who can better steer you.

Octavia.

Re: DV worked!!! CA gone from EQ and EX so far!!!!

The OC always has the option of pulling the account back from the CA.  Sme won't as they are contrated that once released to the CA, it cannot be pulled back without good reason.
