Debt Validate a Judgment

Can you DV a judgment that is already on your credit report? Not a new judgment, about a year old from filed by court.

Re: Debt Validate a Judgment

You can dispute a judgement "as not mine" with the Credit Reporting Agencies".  The will verify whether or not it is yours then.  But this will actually work only if the debt is "not yours".

As for actually DVing a Judgement, Short answer, NO.  Besides, there is no point in it.  A judgement is a court order, in other words, it has already been "validated" in a court of law and a judge has determined that the debt is yours.

Re: Debt Validate a Judgment

The Judgment is definately mine, just don't want it there for year and years, I want to pay it off and take care of it. Any suggestions on handling it? to get some kind of positive outcome for the judgment?
