Defaulted Judgement and Hawaii

If a judgement is paid before it hits the CRA can it still be reported. Found out about a ticket from 10 years ago. I thought it will be past the SOL but the time freezes if you move out of state. I check my reports everymonth and it has not showed up yet so I paid so be on the safe side. Im just concerned that even though it is paid the court can still report it as a judgement. Any opinions?

Re: Defaulted Judgement and Hawaii

I had the same thing happen to me except I had 2 tickets from 7 years ago in Hawaii. I paid the tickets online at the webpage they directed and they haven't appeared on my credit report.

I by no means am an expert, but thought my experience may help, good luck!

I live in Hawaii and the SOL is six years...so you are out from under the SOL. Don't worry you should be fine, they will in all likelihood not report anything.
