Hello.. I had a bunch of unexpected expenses come up last month. Vet bills, washing machine broke, and my employer cut my hours until the end of the year for budget reasons.. I will spare you of the details.
I have a mortgage with Taylor, Bean, and Whittaker.. and another with Wells Fargo..
I have a car loan with Capitol One Auto and another with a local credit union..
Do you know if any of these lenders will defer a payment for a month without striking me with a 30 day late? I have never asked for defered payments before.. I was just wondering if it is worth asking before I drift into having a bunch of lates?? Otherwise It will take me until January or February to get caught up.

If you have not asked for a deferment b4 with Cap One & your loan is current, it may be possible to do that for you depending on how many pymnts you've made on the acct so far. If it's less than six then you won't qualify.
Most lenders will allow you to defer your payments for a month but when you call to ask, I would make sure that in doing so, they won't report a 30 day late.
