Deletion of accts...when updated on CR?

when you dispute an item on your credit report..does it update as soon as the reporting results is sent to your email? I had a couple of accounts I disputed w/ the CRA and then the results came back that they deleted them. Does it take awhile to actually hit your CR and get an alert? I would think w/ these 2 negative accounts being deleted, I would get some kind of points...any responsed greatly appreciated!!

If you get derogatory accounts deleted, you should see a score boost as soon as you pull again. Having them deleted has the same effect as if they were never there.

Thanks Fret..but I am signed up for the Fico Alerts and haven't received one yet....do you know why?

i had two accounts delete 2 weeks ago.  never got an alert for it.

Not always.

If they were collections being reported by a CA and you still have remaining CA appearing on your report.....likely to receive very few, if any points.

If reported by a OC and deleted, you may receive points and you may not. Whatever good the account was giving you is gone with the bad.

The removal of an account itself does not trigger an alert.
