Denied/Approved for CCs within days of each other...inquiry for DENY not showing on any reports

I appllied for and was DENIED a CC w/Discount Tire on Monday, however, I can't see where they've pulled my CBR at all!  I subscribe to TrueCredit, ScoreWatch and the Quarterly Reporting - and NONE of them are showing them as an inquiry. 

 

I also applied for and was APPROVED for a Cap 1 card two days later - they pulled both TU and EX, and the inq appeared immediately (not that I got an alert from ScoreWatch, but I saw it on my TrueCredit report)...

 

Any ideas on why it's taking so long to see the inq from Discount Tire?  Should I call to speak w/someone?

Is it possible they pulled a soft inquiry? Also, when I had TC, alerts came as late as 5 days later. And there have been some CCs like NASA FCU, CCCU and others where the CR was pulled 3-4 days (or later in CCCU's case) after the app.

Is it possible they pulled a soft inquiry? Also, when I had TC, alerts came as late as 5 days later. And there have been some CCs like NASA FCU, CCCU and others where the CR was pulled 3-4 days (or later in CCCU's case) after the app.

I've actually had better luck w/TC alerts than with the myFICO products I've purchased - still nothing from them regarding these inquiries!  Oh well.

 

Anyway, I guess it's possible that Discount Tire pulled a soft inquiry - I'll know more in a few weeks - I just sent a letter to the bureaus for another card that I was declined for to request free copies of my reports.
